Granite is a naturally occurring stone with a granular texture, available in a variety of patterns and colours. It is stronger than most common worktop options such as Formica, and it performs well under regular wear and tear. It’s extremely hard and durable; only diamonds are tougher. In fact, our stonemasons must use diamond-coated blades to cut the slabs.

Because granite is such a strong material, it’s scratch resistant. Cutting directly onto it will damage your knives, but not your worktops. Unlike other materials, granite is not damaged or weakened by exposure to heat as it is heat resistant, meaning you don’t need to worry about where to set down hot pans. On top of this, our granite products are impregnated with silicone-based sealer, which makes them stain-resistant too. 

Despite its tough, luxurious properties, it’s not as expensive as you might think. Granite is found on every continent; its abundance makes it accessible and affordable.
